Potato

By Chris Pollard From Issue No. 7

as my Irish grandfather liked to say,

all your fancy chips with their salt and vinegar

and their sour cream and their dill

and their ketchup are all well and fine

but sometimes

you just want to drill a hole in a potato

and have your way with it

exactly as God intended

and as my Irish grandmother liked to respond,

amen to that.
