In the morning, we dress

By Tamaria del Rio From Issue No. 7

I turn to you

and say baby,

I can see

myself

in the mirror

and it scares me,

I’m especially

not supposed

to see myself.

like Dracula

you know? you say

you know.

you say

let me

look for you

instead.

you say baby,

you say when

the light bounces

just right

it takes

your head off.
