Daniel Galef has been an actor, a teacher, a door-to-door poll taker, and a dictionary definition (Merriam-Webster, “interfaculty,” adj.[2]), but currently he is a graduate instructor of English at Florida State University and Associate Poetry Editor of Able Muse. His short fiction has appeared in Juked, the American Bystander, Bewildering Stories, and the 2020 Best Small Fictions anthology. He also writes poems and plays. Galef lives behind an Aldi in the Florida Panhandle where he bicycles through haunted swamps, collects counterfeit coins, and has not had a shave or a haircut in four years.
