Ashleigh Mounser


Ashleigh Mounser graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelors of Creative Writing as a Dean Scholar with Distinction in 2015. Amongst numerous other accolades and publications, Ashleigh was Sydney Morning Herald’s Young Writer of the Year in 2012; the overall winner of the Future Leaders Writing Competition; winner of the “Time to Write” contest conducted by the University of Melbourne, winner of Henry Handel Richardson Centenary Writing Competition and recipient of two arts grant from the Bouddi Foundation of the Arts, chaired by John Bell of the Bell Shakespeare Company.  Ashleigh’s feature film, “Questions and Comments” is in post-production at the University of Miami, and she is currently studying a Graduate Certificate of Screenwriting at the Australian School of Film, Television and Radio in Sydney. Ashleigh’s work can be found in ebooks, book-books, blogs, sarcastic tweets and on her mother’s refrigerator.
